I began my Chadsworth career a little later than others, at the age of 9, left for a couple of years, came back at 13 and haven't left since! Upon joining the weekly drama class my confidence grew, and after doing several of my Acting LAMDA exams, decided to start singing lessons too.

After a few years Michelle asked me to become a student teacher, helping with the drama classes, where I met many students who are now among my firmest friends, especially Sophie, who I teach with now! Michelle also encouraged me to take part in competitions, including The British Arts Awards in both the singing and drama categories, which I was lucky enough to win on a couple of occasions.

Teaching and performing with Chadsworth has given me very many opportunities. whether it be performing in London Theatres, National Trust Properties, Royal Parks, Disneyland Paris, or on the stage at Claygate, the attitude Michelle & our teachers instilled in us was always the same . . . Enjoy it!

Working my way through the school and having done the same competitions and exams that we encourage students to enter today really helps with my teaching. I feel very qualified to say 'I know how you feel !' I will also be forever grateful to Michelle for coaching me through all my Acting and Verse & Prose LAMDA exams, and especially for helping me to finally pass my Associate exam.

The Chadsworth of today has been through a fe changes since I joined some 19 years ago, but the main ethos is very much the same. To learn your stage craft, push yourself to achieve your best, but mainly, ENJOY IT!
